REDA Maximus ESP System
Plug-and-play design
The innovative plug-and-play design of REDA Maximus ESP motors, protectors, and gauges eliminates the need for the sensitive and weather-dependent critical assembly operations that conventional ESP installations require. Installation operations, such as protector shimming and oil servicing of motors and protectors, are now performed in the controlled environment of Schlumberger manufacturing and service centers. Field connection of the tape-in pothead has been eliminated. Maximus components arrive at the wellsite ready for easy installation.
The Maximus systems also feature optional Phoenix downhole gauges for real-time monitoring of ESP and reservoir performance. Because they are variable-rated for operating conditions, Maximus motors offer flexibility across a wide range of applications. The motors have been redesigned to incorporate better cooling, improved stability, better dielectric strength in insulation material, and oils that enable long-lasting performance.
